Yep, I think that title says it all. My mind is currently racing like mad. There’s so many things that needs to be done before Christmas and yet I feel like I’ve hardly started with anything. Mentally I’m at the weekend before Christmas, some time between Christmas and New Years, while having my usual home exam panic in early January. I’m nowhere near where I actually AM, December 2nd, with still some time left to fix everything that needs to be done and figure out alternative plans for the things that won’t work.
I think my stress comes from the fact that I’m busy pretty much every day up until the weekend before Christmas. That’s my stop, that’s where this insane train will come to a halt and will start to enjoy the Holidays. My schedule consists of this: work at the internship, attend lectures, work on the home exams, study, shoot fun photoshoots, buy Christmas gifts, make candy, plan for food making, look for Christmas decorations and at least attempt to be creative at some other point.
Ugh, if I did an insanity check right now, the levels would be sky high it feels >_<
But hey, here’s a pretty picture at least ^^ I need to assemble all the photos from this shoot in a single post soon!

Hard at work at my internship at the moment. Together with all the studying, I don’t have much free time at all. I don’t like to have to study on weekends, but right now I’m pretty much forced to.. This and other things was the reason why I a couple of months ago decided to cut back on modelling a bit. I can’t stop it completely, I’m too restless for that, but I won’t shoot anything that hasn’t previously been discussed. Also, I will only shoot with photographers that I’ve worked with before. All others will have to wait until next year – and I can’t really give any TF guarantees then since I don’t know what will happen.
With all that said, I try not to plan ahead too much, it will only stress me out. One thing at the time, like my honey’s desperately been trying to teach me for years Whatever happens, happens, and it will most likely turn out good in the end ^^
In a couple of weeks, though, I will be shooting with the wonderful Kitty Carol again Lots of pretty latex this time! Here’s a new treat from our shoot this summer <3

A couple of weeks ago I met up with the awesome Belinda Bartzner – Photography for a shiny gothic photoshoot. It was so much fun and the pictures came out sooo perfect, in spite of the fact that my effort of curling my hair was all in vain (five minutes in the wind and there was not a curl left). Unfortunately, the world will probably never get to see them. You see, right before she was heading back to her home town, some asshole broke into her friends car and stole her camera. Complete with all the memory cards containing pictures from the shoots she had done while here in Stockholm! I can’t believe the nerve of some people >_<
So it looks like we’ll be re-doing the shoot the next time she’s in town. I don’t mind it, but I am a little scared that we’ll never be able to nail some shots as perfect as the last time.. But we’ll do our best!
Until then, this is the only photo you will get to see from that shoot. Her friend and assistant took this picture, I’m wearing Naucler Design, All You Need Is GL<3VES and a necklace from The Crypt of Curiosities.
By the way, we had planned to send the finished images to a magazine for submission. That is still on our minds, so if there’s any alternative magazine out there who likes this preview and already feels they would like to publish the new set (when it’s been shot, of course), please let me know!
I’m currently in a baking mood. There’s been so much lately that I haven’t had time to bake anything, something that’s otherwise one of my favourite pastimes. Being gluten intolerant makes it a bit more difficult, because everything you make behaves a lot more different than ordinary foods and sweets. Once you cut out flour (and therefor, gluten), things are not as clear cut anymore.
But I’m stubborn and I will let nothing keep me from indulging in cakes, cookies, pies and cupcakes ^^ So I experiment on free-hand as well as look up recipes on the Internet. I try to stay as clear as possible from all kinds of ready made flour/cake mixes though. Partly because I aim to keep my sweet things “clean”, and partly because I search a lot for recipes in English – and the gluten free flour/cake mixes that are available in USA, UK or Australia are impossible to get a hold of here in Sweden.
My latest mission has been shortbread cookies. I’m a huge cookie monster, but I haven’t been able to bake as much cookies since I got my diagnosis, mostly since many recipes contains a lot more flour than I’ve dared experiment with so far. But a little while ago I found an awesome recipe for gluten free shortbread cookies, made from almond flour and rice flour. The recipe was incredibly easy and really fun to try, and I decided to use my Cthulhu cookie cutter for the occasion
The first tray was somewhat of a failure though. The cookies spread so much they ended up looking like monkey heads instead of flying octopus monsters And they got a lot more colour than they should. But after I tweaked a bit with the oven temperature and cooking time, the following trays looked awesome ^^ Even though they look more like bats in their current state. But that’s easily solved with a bit of green icing ^^
The 1st of October Black Milk Clothing released their Halloween collection. I was pretty interested in it since I had heard rumours about there being pieces with Corpse Bride print. I love Tim Burton and Corpse Bride is one of my favourite movies. Ever. Imagine my happiness when they published the list of all prints and styles to be released and I saw “Corpse Bride leggings”!
Naturally, I had to have them.
While going through all the sneak peeks there was another item that caught my eyes. The Dead Cat leggings, with a print of a cat skeleton patterned in a kaleidoscopic kind of way. Every time I looked at them I just seemed to want them more. The only catch was they were a 48H special, which meant they were only going to be on sale for 48 hours. Did I have money for them?
Yes, I did.
My new babies and I don’t regret a thing! I was never much for leggings on nylon before, but once I got my hands on my first pair (the Cthulhu leggings), I was stuck. Now I got three pairs and I’m very happy indeed ^^
I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but I got myself a new header for this blog a little while ago. And yesterday it hit me, I haven’t shown you that photo properly. Nor have I shown you the second photo from that same shoot. Well, that can easily be fixed ^^
Originally I had planned to wait to publish that set here until I get all the finished pics. But since I don’t know when that will be, I’ll just divide it all into parts again.
So, here are the first two photos from my latest shoot with Belinda Bartzner <3

Vanyanís are so adorable! Not long ago they had a Giveaway where you could win a beautiful necklace, and now they’re holding another one! This time it’s to celebrate 1500 Likes on Facebook – which they really deserve and I hope they get a lot more If you take part in the Giveaway you will be able to win a $150 AUD voucher to use towards a custom garment.
If you don’t know about Vanyanís yet, you really should check out their website, Vanyanis.net. So many gorgeous things to be found!
As you can probably guess from the title, I’m a bit of a Lovecraft/Cthulhu/octopus/tentacles freak I collect everything related that strikes my fancy, and this week two new items arrived for my collection.
First of all, I got these lovely Cthulhu leggings from Black Milk Clothing <3 I’m a bit sad though that they don’t make the matching dress anymore, but one of these days I will get my hands on one!
The second thing that arrived with the post was this beautiful necklace from The Crypt of Curiosities <3 I’ve been drooling over it for weeks and once I saw that there was only one left.. Well, I just couldn’t resist Besides, it’s the last one she will probably ever make and I’m so happy to own it
I need to plan shoots with them both soon! I’ve already got an idea for the leggings, the necklace will require something ocean blue or green. Maybe something in latex, I haven’t quite decided yet..
