Published in Xpressions Magazine

Earlier this year I got together with some of my favourite partners in crime and created an amazing steampunk shoot. We had worked a long time on getting the outfits and details right and I had sorted out a great location.

A couple of weeks ago we found out that our efforts had payed off and we were getting two of the shots published in Xpressions Magazine. I am so happy and so proud of the entire team who made this happen and the pictures turned out perfect🙂

Darkness & Goth Girls

In the early summer I got together with two of my loveliest creative friends, Lucy Fehr and Katiekat, to do a bit of shooting together. I had been in discussions with them both about co-modeling and so we thought it would be a good idea to do something all three. So I got to model alongside both of them, which was tons of fun😀 We have such great chemistry so everything just flowed and the photos turned out wonderful!

Here are two of them to start with🙂 Photographer for the first one is Lucy Fehr and Katiekat is my co-model (she also did the editing on this one) and for the second one it’s the other way around! Lucy’s and my dresses are from Black Milk Clothing, my corset is from Viola Lahger and my nail armour is from Myril Jewels.

Black & Green for Bedeseme Magazine

Time really flies sometimes, doesn’t it? It’s the beginning of August, which means fall is closing in and with that a very hectic period for me. Not only will there be lots of work but I will also travel a bit as well as go in for surgery which is going to leave me unable to do all my normal things for a couple of weeks (I will make a proper post explaining everything later, but I can assure you it’s nothing serious and everything is and will be fine). That also means no time or energy for shoots. At the moment I have a lot of sets waiting to either be sent to magazines or to be done at all so there will be stuff to show you!

Until then, please enjoy this set that was shot exclusively for my feature in Bedeseme Magazine this past winter❤

Red Burlesque

Okay, I know it’s been two weeks since my last update but things have been pretty busy over here. So I thought I’d make it up to you by showing something nearly new but different. You all know I like to shoot vintage/retro with Hanna Fredholm. Well, a while ago we got together to shoot again and this time we ended up doing a colourful burlesque theme. I’ve never done burlesque before so it was a really fun thing to try🙂

Electric Lilac Latex Dreams

Back in early May me and my boyfriend went to Berlin for German Fetish Ball Weekend. This was our second time there as we really enjoyed the experience last year, and while we had planned to go to more parties and events we actually spend a lot of time just enjoying the city. We did go to the ball on Saturday though and of course the fetish fair, these were our main priorities after all.

I love going to fashion fairs and flea markets, it’s so much fun to go around, browse everything and chat with a designer or two (although I’m horribly shy and very bad at representing my model self). And of course I always come away with something nice ^^
This time was no different, although I wish I had taken the chance to get something more (don’t you always?).
Anyways, my treasures this year was a beautiful harness inspired top from Pandora Deluxe’s latest collection and an order for a dress from Catriona Stewart Clothing. A few weeks ago that dress arrived and here it is! It’s an absolute dream made of electric lilac latex❤

It’s the girliest piece of fetish clothing I will probably ever own but I love it to bits🙂 And I will be doing a shoot with it soon which will be so much fun!

Black & White Retro

As promised I’m keeping up my weekly posts! I hope that with time I will write more often but as long as I average on once a week I’m happy, for now.

Most of you know me as a fetish and steampunk model but I do dabble in other genres as well. One of them is retro/vintage inspired and my favourite Stockholm photographer to go to for that is Hanna Fredholm. Earlier this spring we did a black and white shoot with a very simple styling and much accessories. I had only been doing shoots with other models since January so it felt really good to be alone in front of the camera. And I got a chance to bring out my beautiful corset busk jewellery from Vanyanís🙂❤

Let’s Go Darkness

Yes, I know I have been neglecting this blog quite a bit (read: a lot) but I promise it will be better from now on! As of now I will aim to do at least one blog post a week, whether it’s about my creative adventures, food or other everyday stuff. I just really need to get back into the habit of writing as it helps clear my mind of other things.

So we’re starting with something creative, namely a wonderful behind the scenes pic of me and the lovely Lucy Fehr during our shoot with Katiekat yesterday. Lucy is all black metal badass and can’t keep a straight face😛
Our dresses are from Black Milk Clothing, my corset is made by Viola Lahger and my nail armor is from Myril Jewels.

Lady of Darkness

Little over a year ago I got together with my multi-talented friend Post-Mortem.se to create some fetish darkness. The photos were meant to be in a magazine but it never happened so here they are now instead!

When Are You A Model?

This is a question that has racked my brain ever since I started modelling more seriously back in 2011. When can you claim to be a model? What do you have to do/achieve to be considered one by yourself and others in the business? It seems to me that everyone has their own definition of what a model is and when you can call yourself one.

Here are some of the answers to the above questions that I’ve heard or read during the years:
– Once you’ve done a shoot with a professional photographer
– Once you’ve been paid for a shoot (either by the photographer or another creative involved)
– Once you’ve done product shoots for a designer
– Once you’ve collaborated with a designer for a creative shoot
– Once you’ve been contacted by a professional photographer to do a shoot
– Once you’ve been approached by a designer who wants you to shoot their creations (either willing to lend you the item/-s or letting you keep it/them as payment)
– Once you’ve been published in a magazine
– Once you’ve been on the cover of a magazine
– Once you’ve done a fashion show for a small designer/business
– Once you’ve done a fashion show for a big designer
– If you’re represented by a major agency

I’m sure there are plenty more though..

According to this little list there are 8 reasons for me to call myself a model😛 Personally though, I’m not quite sure what I think makes or doesn’t make a model. I think I want to say that once you know your angles and how to pose for/adapt to different photographers, then you are a model. Just standing in front of a camera isn’t enough, you have to be an active part of the creative process. Once you’ve got that then you’re a model in my book.

What about you? When do you think someone can call themselves a model?

Feature in Azaria Magazine, issue 13 2016

This will be the last magazine feature post for a little while, mostly because I don’t have anything more confirmed or published yet. But in January I also managed to be featured in Azaria Magazine with a couple of photos that me and Natalie G Sundling took about a year ago🙂
