Sorry for the lack of updates, but I’ve been a very busy bee these past few weeks. My paper is done and defended, I’m only waiting to get my grade on it. I’m currently writing my final home exam, due next week. It’s an easy one, but it’s hard to find the motivation to write it – and to not be overly stuck-up and “yell” at everything! But that’s my problem with “discuss freely” questions, I love them but I can’t help but being very bitter and sarcastic when discussing the topic 😛 But it has given me good points in the past, so who knows? Maybe lightning strikes twice? 😉
I’ve also started my summer job, being a registrator at a government office. Lots of routine work but I like it ^^ It gives me money so I can get one or two new latex pieces, a new corset and a new phone. I can’t complain about that 🙂 It might mean though that it will be a bit quiet here since I’ll be working full time and won’t have the same amount of time to write things every few days. But I hope you’ll still stick around, there are going to be some lovely pics posted since I’m planning shoots for the summer 🙂
This little baby will come out to play!
Oh and I got a new dress recently :3 I’m celebrating five whole years together with my beloved Mashiara and I thought I should have something new ^^ I’m getting him something really special for our anniversary and sooo hope he will like it! No, I won’t say anything since I know he reads my blog 😉
My decision to take a break from modelling seems to have been a pretty good one. I don’t feel so stressed and can focus completely on my studies. Also, I’m feeling more creative. I keep getting new ideas, and hints to ideas, that I want to do. That was one thing that I was missing, the feeling of being really creative and the desire to create art.
The funny thing is, I started to feel creative when I got my latest corset – the dark green overbust that I bought from Tea Time. And I felt it again when I got my latest treasure, a beautiful necklace made from a vintage syringe.
And the lovely summery weather might also have something to do with it. Now I can finally do some proper location shoots, and I’ve missed that a lot 🙂
I will stay on my break until June 15th, after that I will only be shooting on weekends since I will be working full time. But I already have a few things planned ^^
Let’s end this post with a couple of pics of my inspiring treasures!
So I’m back home with a working Internet again! It’s been completely gone these past few days so my intended break from everything really couldn’t be compromised with.
But it’s been nice to have some time off from things. I’ve been spending these days with two pretty cats, doing lots of crosswords and enjoying the company of other kinky people. This last thing was done on Thursday during the event Stockholm Fetish Fair. It’s a tradition for me to go to the fair and this year I went with a couple of friends to browse some latex and look at people.
I found way too much latex that I wanted, but everything was over my budget – or it was something that I had already decided to get custom made from somewhere else. I did get me a new bottle of Vivishine though ^^ Should be stocking up on Vividress but that will have to be solved later.
This year there was also a lot of different workshops and lectures going on. I attended one that seemed to me the most interesting, held by the awesome Mollena Williams and titled What the fuck kind of pervert are you?
In this she talked about the importance of finding your kinky core, the thing that defines why you are into the things you are into. Why you do what you do. She also stressed the importance of finding your own way in the kinky jungle, learning from your experiences and not letting anyone lable you, but lable yourself. But the key point in this – apart from knowing your core – was that you have to take charge of yourself, get what you want and always(!) look out for yourself. As a submissive your first responsibility is towards yourself.
I’ve read quite a few discussions on this theme in different forums, but no one has put it quite as clearly as Mollena. It made me remember parts of my own life and my journey to finding who I am, what I like and what I want. Going from uncertainty and depression to certainty and happiness has been somewhat of a rollercoaster, but I know my core and I have learned a lot during the years.
If you ever get a chance to listen to her talk, do it!
Hm, seems I could write an entire blog post about this.. Would that be of any interest to you guys?
I will be taking a little break from things this weekend. The reason is quite simple and not very dramatic: I’m going to be watching my father’s and his fiancé’s cats while they’re away on a trip 🙂 I’ve grown up around cats and used to have my own a few years back. I’ve missed having a cat around, but my current life situation won’t allow for it. So when I’m needed to watch over these darlings, I’m happy to oblige ^^
So therefor I’ve decided to make good use of this time away and not be online as much as I normally am. I will bring my laptop to keep track of school related news, but everything else will be kept to minimum.
Tomorrow I will attend the Stockholm Fetish Fair with a bunch of friends. Hopefully I will be able to find some latex accessories, and maybe even a nice pair of high heels. The Fetish Fair is part of the annual event called Stockholm Fetish Weekend. There will be lots of parties, workshops, lectures and such. I won’t go to any though, I’m missing my favourite companion, Mashiara.. But I’ll spend money on clothes instead 😛
I’m packed and ready to go. Now all that is left is to hand in my paper. If I try to tweak it any more I will go insane..
Anyway, here’s a nice pic to finish this post. Taken by Natalie G Sundling, with gloves from All You Need Is Gloves.
Last week I had this year’s first outdoor photoshoot involving latex. Me and photographer Natalie G Sundling had been planning to head out to a place called Drottningholm for a long time and finally the weather was on our side 🙂 We also had makup artist Colorfulmakeups in our team to create something really lovely. And I finally got to shoot the dress I had ordered from Naucler Design before they shut down! ^^
I love shooting with Natalie. We work so quickly together, she’s awesome to be around and the photos always turn out great!
