I know I’ve been neglecting this blog quite a bit but time has moved so fast these past couple of months so I guess I just forgot I had it. I also haven’t been shooting a lot so there haven’t been much of that to write about. Early this year I made an active decision to cut beck on modelling for several reasons. Partly because I don’t feel I have enough time for it since I work during the week and only have time to shoot on weekends (when I also might want to do other things, like spend time with my love and my friends), and partly because I want to dedicate more time to shoot ideas that I have been working on for a while. It’s time to cross off that To Do list. And if that means shooting less in favour of creating great shoots, then so be it.
To be honest, it’s the best decision I’ve made so far. I love the process of creating a shoot and I want to fell that I’ve put enough time and energy in all of them, not just some. I’m less stressed now, it’s easier for me to get into the right mood and flow during a shoot and I feel very happy with the outcome.
In late March I had my first shoot in five months and it was with the lovely Carmilla who was here for the weekend. We had decided early on to something more fantasy inspired and later agreed to “throw in” some latex as well. I had a couple of ideas for both that had been brewing in my mind for a long time and now I could finally realise them in front of the camera! I love how both sets turned out, there were some true top notch images in both of them. Im still working on accepting the fact that my body looks different now than when I started six years ago, but hey, that’s what genetics, age and a feeling of being stable and happy in life can do 😛
Anyways, here are some selfies and sneak peeks for you!
Corset: Viola Lahger
Bolero: Sophie and her Store
Top hat: Imperial Fiddlesticks Emporium
Latex: Westward Bound
Gloves: All you need is Gloves
Hosiery: Black Milk Clothing
Yes, I know I have been neglecting this blog quite a bit (read: a lot) but I promise it will be better from now on! As of now I will aim to do at least one blog post a week, whether it’s about my creative adventures, food or other everyday stuff. I just really need to get back into the habit of writing as it helps clear my mind of other things.
So we’re starting with something creative, namely a wonderful behind the scenes pic of me and the lovely Lucy Fehr during our shoot with Katiekat yesterday. Lucy is all black metal badass and can’t keep a straight face 😛
Our dresses are from Black Milk Clothing, my corset is made by Viola Lahger and my nail armor is from Myril Jewels.
Last weekend I finally got to shoot with Belinda Bartzner – Photography again! We’ve been planning on shooting for several months now, but our schedules haven’t really matched. But now she came up to Stockholm for one weekend and we found the proper time 🙂 We did two shoots, one with the red latex dress from Naucler Design that we shot last fall (but then the camera got stolen..), and the other with lots of black latex from Maebelle Latex.
Here are some behind the scenes shots for you, hope you like them 🙂
A couple of weeks ago I met up with the awesome Belinda Bartzner – Photography for a shiny gothic photoshoot. It was so much fun and the pictures came out sooo perfect, in spite of the fact that my effort of curling my hair was all in vain (five minutes in the wind and there was not a curl left). Unfortunately, the world will probably never get to see them. You see, right before she was heading back to her home town, some asshole broke into her friends car and stole her camera. Complete with all the memory cards containing pictures from the shoots she had done while here in Stockholm! I can’t believe the nerve of some people >_<
So it looks like we’ll be re-doing the shoot the next time she’s in town. I don’t mind it, but I am a little scared that we’ll never be able to nail some shots as perfect as the last time.. But we’ll do our best!
Until then, this is the only photo you will get to see from that shoot. Her friend and assistant took this picture, I’m wearing Naucler Design, All You Need Is GL<3VES and a necklace from The Crypt of Curiosities.
By the way, we had planned to send the finished images to a magazine for submission. That is still on our minds, so if there’s any alternative magazine out there who likes this preview and already feels they would like to publish the new set (when it’s been shot, of course), please let me know!
Last Saturday the lovely photographer Belinda Bartzner came up to Stockholm again. As soon as I heard she was coming I knew I had to shoot with her again, everything turned out so good the last time! To my happiness she wanted to shoot with me as well 🙂 After some discussions we decided to try on something new: steampunk.
I have done shoots that were steampunk inspired, but this time we wanted something more.. well, proper. That meant no latex. Instead I spent an entire week sewing, dyeing and gluing together a good looking outfit as well as accessories. The only thing I didn’t make or alter was the corset, my pride and joy from Viola Lahger 😛
Anyway, our luck had it that it was a day with rain on and off, but we still managed to time it perfectly when it was clearing up a bit. And it was so much fun! As it always is when we’re shooting together ^^ And the results looked so awesome in the camera! I can’t wait to receive the finished results 🙂
After quite a long break from photoshoots due to massive amounts of studies I’ve finally started to get creative again. This past Monday I had a new shoot with one of my favourite photogarphers, KT Twisted Photography. We shot some pretty colourful stuff, one with a little retro style to it and another one that was all latexy and shiny ^^
Here’s a little sneak peek at what we were up to, including some behind the scenes shots 🙂
Yes, I’m always this happy when I get to wear latex ^^
Rawr, I be the green shiny monster!
Aaand a little preview! Can you guess my favourites? 🙂
It’s been a little while since I posted something here so I thought I’d give you a little insight to what I’ve been doing these past few days 🙂
My honey, Mashiara, came up so between being romantic and sweet I’ve been dragging him out to a couple of photoshoots. One with latex and one with fluffy goodness ^^ And yes, there are pictures to prove it! You want to see them? Okay, here you go ^^
First off, I had a really fun shoot with Mynumberis911 featuring my new dress from Maebelle Latex.
That was on Tuesday last week, and on Saturday it was time again! I had four big hat boxes filled with hats, corsages and flowery hair things from my dear friend Imperial Fiddlesticks Emporium, that I brought to life with the help of the awesome Josefine Jönsson Photosgraphy & Retouch.
That’s pretty much what I’ve been doing 🙂 Now I’m planning for a shoot I’ll do together with the gorgeous Kya Wolfwritten, and later on there will be something epic to be done with a steampunky theme. But’s all I’m going to say about that for now, you’ll have to wait and see for the rest ^^
Photoshoot Week is over, now it’s time to take care of all the schoolwork I’ve conventiently forgotten. It’s not that much really, but it takes a lot of energy from me and so I need to prioritize. One shoot left this week and then I’ll be taking a break from everything up until summer. I do want to get a proper grade in my courses and so I desperately need to put all my energy into my studies. It’s not as fun as running around in latex, heels and corsets, but it has to be done.
Anyway, I’ve had tons of fun during this past week and I’m really looking forward to seeing the results 🙂 With a little luck I’ve got something special to show you all later, but some details will have to be fixed before I can be really sure.
Until then you will have to settle for a few Behind the Scenes Pics 🙂
These are all taken by the lovely makeup artist Colorfulmakeups.
Yesterday was the day for my first photoshoot with the photographer TzR and the sweet makeup artist Colorfulmakeups. It was so much fun! We started off with a lovely custom made latex dress from Maebelle Latex and then I took a darker approach with some pvc, thigh highs and a corset – all in black. I was supposed to shoot a pretty black and pink latex dress too but after a horrible night my nerves weren’t really up to fighting with extremely tight latex… So I’ll have a go at it on Sunday’s shoot instead, when I’ll also shoot the green dress again together with my dear friend Starfucked ^^
Pictures will all come in due time, before that you will have to settle for a pretty sneak peek 🙂 This one was taken by Colorfulmakeups herself 🙂
