Latex Snow Queen Pt 2

Yes, I know, odd title since we’re in the middle of spring/start of summer. But just hang on a little and you’ll understand why 😉

I’ve had some busy weeks with work and planning for this and that. And this past weekend it wasn’t just Easter, it was my birthday too! ^^ That meant lots of cake for me and presents in the form of cookbooks (5 in total), a madeleine cake tin, some other kitchen utensils and things to put in the DVD player when I’m bored.
Unfortunately I haven’t been able to enjoy those things much since I’ve been sick with a stomach virus since Monday :/ But now I’m getting back in the game and can finally eat properly again! Seriously, I hate not being able to eat..

Anyways, here’s the reason to the chosen title: a new photo from the awesome Kitty Carol ❤

Latex Snow Queen

A couple of weeks ago I got to shoot with the lovely Kitty Carol again. We had been planning this shoot for months and this was probably going to be the last weekend with snow so we knew it was now or never. It was cold as hell, and windy, which didn’t help, but it really turned out beautiful! This is probably my favourite shoot to date 🙂

Alice in the Dark

Early in December last year, I had another shoot with the lovely Kitty Carol. This time we did something a bit different. Instead of just going with a badass outfit, we focused on doing some creative portraits – with different accessories. We did two different styles and the result was awesome! I can’t wait to see the the finished result of the second look, it was so much fun to go out of my “styling box” and something completely new 🙂

With that said, I love this first look as well. I feel like a combined Alice in Wonderland-burlesque lady-19th century vampire ^^

2013 Chronicle

Wow, this year has really been busy! It’s had its ups and downs, but luckily, mostly ups 🙂 Here’s a little chronicle over the past year’s adventures, enjoy!

January:
Finished my first semester in Archival Science and almost immediately got started on the next one. Was waayy too busy for shoots though, my head was mostly buried in books.. I did however acquire my second pair of latex gloves from All You Need Is GL<3VES ^^

RedBowGloves

February:
So much studying… But I got my shooting game back on with a lovely winter photo shoot together with KT Twisted photography.

Snowangel

March:This was the month that saw the light of the first publication I fixed all by myself, the second overall publication in total 🙂 This was a huge milestone for me as it was in a quite well-known magazine, The Cat’s Meow Magazine. I also did some shoots with Natalie G Sundling, including an Easter themed one 🙂

TCMM March 2013 Arathin

April:
The month of my birthday! And this month I also got to collaborate with a new latex designer, ASD Latex 🙂 I did shoots with both KT Twisted photography and Natalie G Sundling, the latter one with some latex from now closed Naucler Design.

May:
Took a small break from modelling due to the heaps of studies that needed to be finished. I also started a summer job as a registrar that would end up lasting until the end of October.

June:
I aced the second semester in Archival Science! This was also the month when I got to work with Belinda Bartzner – Photography for the first time.

July:
Had several shoots this month, including two with two new photographers: Linda Florin and Kitty Carol. I also got to work with a new makeup artist, Josephine Levander 🙂 It was a wonderful summer, even though I spent most of it working.

August:
This month I went to my first Victorian Picnic with a bunch of friends. It was a lot of fun and I hope to go again this year 🙂 I also did a new shoot with Belinda Bartzner – Photography and landed my second publication in Kultur Magazine!

September:
Worked, went to a food festival my honey, Mashiara, and bought my first pair of Black Milk leggings. I even did a shoot with them together with Natalie G Sundling ^^ We also shot some pretty hair accessories for a designer, The Psychobilly Shop UK.

October:
Had my third photoshoot with Belinda Bartzner – Photography. Unfortunately though, her camera got stolen and all the pictures were lost forever. So this photo is the only one that will ever be seen from it until we can get a chance to do it again..

November:
My grandmother got out of hospital after being there for 4 months. I also started my new internship and had lots of shoots planned. Illness and stupid weather got them all canceled though so I spent most of this month working and studying.

December:
Did my second photoshoot with Kitty Carol, some lovely portraits (photo coming up soon, promise!). And I also did one of my favourite shoots all year with Natalie G Sundling and my latest pair of Black Milk leggings ❤

Talk about an interesting year.. I’ve done so many things, my life has been moving upwards and I’ve got to spend time with some really lovely people. I can only hope 2014 will be even better 🙂

Moving Ahead of Time

Yep, I think that title says it all. My mind is currently racing like mad. There’s so many things that needs to be done before Christmas and yet I feel like I’ve hardly started with anything. Mentally I’m at the weekend before Christmas, some time between Christmas and New Years, while having my usual home exam panic in early January. I’m nowhere near where I actually AM, December 2nd, with still some time left to fix everything that needs to be done and figure out alternative plans for the things that won’t work.

I think my stress comes from the fact that I’m busy pretty much every day up until the weekend before Christmas. That’s my stop, that’s where this insane train will come to a halt and will start to enjoy the Holidays. My schedule consists of this: work at the internship, attend lectures, work on the home exams, study, shoot fun photoshoots, buy Christmas gifts, make candy, plan for food making, look for Christmas decorations and at least attempt to be creative at some other point.

Ugh, if I did an insanity check right now, the levels would be sky high it feels >_<

But hey, here’s a pretty picture at least ^^ I need to assemble all the photos from this shoot in a single post soon!

What’s Coming Ahead

Hard at work at my internship at the moment. Together with all the studying, I don’t have much free time at all. I don’t like to have to study on weekends, but right now I’m pretty much forced to.. This and other things was the reason why I a couple of months ago decided to cut back on modelling a bit. I can’t stop it completely, I’m too restless for that, but I won’t shoot anything that hasn’t previously been discussed. Also, I will only shoot with photographers that I’ve worked with before. All others will have to wait until next year – and I can’t really give any TF guarantees then since I don’t know what will happen.

With all that said, I try not to plan ahead too much, it will only stress me out. One thing at the time, like my honey’s desperately been trying to teach me for years 😛 Whatever happens, happens, and it will most likely turn out good in the end ^^

In a couple of weeks, though, I will be shooting with the wonderful Kitty Carol again 🙂 Lots of pretty latex this time! Here’s a new treat from our shoot this summer ❤

Steampunk Fairytale

Last Sunday I had a shoot with the very talented Kitty Carol. We’ve been trying to schedule a shoot since last October and finally we could make our schedules work!

I had my lovely green corset that I bought from my friend Tea Time and I thought that a combined steampunk/fairytale theme would be perfect for it. And I’m so happy with what we created ^^

These are the first twp photos, more will come soon enough 🙂
