Earlier this spring I was contacted by a fellow WordPress blogger, Asylum Attendant, about doing an interview for the magazine he’s working at. The overall theme of the issue in question was going to be steampunk, one of my favourite genres, and of course I couldn’t say no 🙂
I love doing interviews and this was such a fun one to do as I got some questions I’ve never received before. The issue was out in July and the editor was sweet enough to agree on sending me a free copy (thank you so much, I really appreciated it! ^^)

Hey everyone, sorry I haven’t been so active these past few weeks but I have been busy with life :3
Valentine’s Day came upon us and I spent it with my one and only Mashiara ❤ A night at a nice hotel and a lovely dinner at a fancy French restaurant, I think it was our best Valentine’s ever and definitely one of out best weekends together for some time. I didn’t want it to end and I miss him so much my heart is aching… But hopefully he will be here with me again soon ^^
Other than that I’m working, planning some shoots and apply for new jobs. Even though I like my current workplace I feel the need to move up from “just” being a registrar. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with it, but my goal is to be an archivist and I won’t settle for less. But right now I’m happy if I can get the security, and paycheck, that a permanent job will bring (I’m currently employed as a temporary consultant with a shitty salary..).
And I’m all done with studying! At least for now, I’ll probably go back at a later stage but not right now 🙂 I decided to celebrate that with something I’ve been drooling over for some time: Burned Velvet leggings from Black Milk ❤
About a week before Christmas I teamed up again with the awesome Natalie G Sundling for a photoshoot. I had just received a lovely new pair of Black Milk leggings that I was dying to shoot, and the result turned out perfect! We even took the time to make some Christmas photos ^^ By the way, I hope you’ve had a lovely Christmas and that your New Year’s will be just as great! But now, time for pictures 🙂

The 1st of October Black Milk Clothing released their Halloween collection. I was pretty interested in it since I had heard rumours about there being pieces with Corpse Bride print. I love Tim Burton and Corpse Bride is one of my favourite movies. Ever. Imagine my happiness when they published the list of all prints and styles to be released and I saw “Corpse Bride leggings”!
Naturally, I had to have them.
While going through all the sneak peeks there was another item that caught my eyes. The Dead Cat leggings, with a print of a cat skeleton patterned in a kaleidoscopic kind of way. Every time I looked at them I just seemed to want them more. The only catch was they were a 48H special, which meant they were only going to be on sale for 48 hours. Did I have money for them?
Yes, I did.
My new babies and I don’t regret a thing! I was never much for leggings on nylon before, but once I got my hands on my first pair (the Cthulhu leggings), I was stuck. Now I got three pairs and I’m very happy indeed ^^
As you can probably guess from the title, I’m a bit of a Lovecraft/Cthulhu/octopus/tentacles freak 😛 I collect everything related that strikes my fancy, and this week two new items arrived for my collection.
First of all, I got these lovely Cthulhu leggings from Black Milk Clothing ❤ I’m a bit sad though that they don’t make the matching dress anymore, but one of these days I will get my hands on one!
The second thing that arrived with the post was this beautiful necklace from The Crypt of Curiosities ❤ I’ve been drooling over it for weeks and once I saw that there was only one left.. Well, I just couldn’t resist 😉 Besides, it’s the last one she will probably ever make and I’m so happy to own it 🙂
I need to plan shoots with them both soon! I’ve already got an idea for the leggings, the necklace will require something ocean blue or green. Maybe something in latex, I haven’t quite decided yet..
