Kultur Mag Steampunk Feature

Well, hello there! I see it’s been quite a while since I posted something on this blog and, well, I have no other excuses than that I have been more busy with my job and everyday life than anything creative really. And that means I haven’t had anything to write about (and no, I’m not going to turn this into an everyday blog).

I realised the other day, though, that I had forgot to post about my latest publication! A couple of months ago I was published in Kultur Mag’s steampunk issue with s couple of sets that I shot with Carmilla earlier this year. I love this set so much, it’s one of the best I’ve ever done!

Photographer: Carmilla
Corset: Viola Lahger
Latex skirt: Westward Bound
Top hat: Imperial Fiddlesticks
Latex gloves: All you need is Gloves
Ring: Midnight Nymphs
Earrings (second set): Catherinette Rings
All other jewellery made by me

Steampunk Sneak Peeks

I know I’ve been neglecting this blog quite a bit but time has moved so fast these past couple of months so I guess I just forgot I had it. I also haven’t been shooting a lot so there haven’t been much of that to write about. Early this year I made an active decision to cut beck on modelling for several reasons. Partly because I don’t feel I have enough time for it since I work during the week and only have time to shoot on weekends (when I also might want to do other things, like spend time with my love and my friends), and partly because I want to dedicate more time to shoot ideas that I have been working on for a while. It’s time to cross off that To Do list. And if that means shooting less in favour of creating great shoots, then so be it.

To be honest, it’s the best decision I’ve made so far. I love the process of creating a shoot and I want to fell that I’ve put enough time and energy in all of them, not just some. I’m less stressed now, it’s easier for me to get into the right mood and flow during a shoot and I feel very happy with the outcome.

In late March I had my first shoot in five months and it was with the lovely Carmilla who was here for the weekend. We had decided early on to something more fantasy inspired and later agreed to “throw in” some latex as well. I had a couple of ideas for both that had been brewing in my mind for a long time and now I could finally realise them in front of the camera! I love how both sets turned out, there were some true top notch images in both of them. Im still working on accepting the fact that my body looks different now than when I started six years ago, but hey, that’s what genetics, age and a feeling of being stable and happy in life can do πŸ˜›

Anyways, here are some selfies and sneak peeks for you!

Published in Xpressions Magazine

Earlier this year I got together with some of my favourite partners in crime and created an amazing steampunk shoot. We had worked a long time on getting the outfits and details right and I had sorted out a great location.

A couple of weeks ago we found out that our efforts had payed off and we were getting two of the shots published in Xpressions Magazine. I am so happy and so proud of the entire team who made this happen and the pictures turned out perfect πŸ™‚

Darkness & Goth Girls

In the early summer I got together with two of my loveliest creative friends, Lucy Fehr and Katiekat, to do a bit of shooting together. I had been in discussions with them both about co-modeling and so we thought it would be a good idea to do something all three. So I got to model alongside both of them, which was tons of fun πŸ˜€ We have such great chemistry so everything just flowed and the photos turned out wonderful!

Here are two of them to start with πŸ™‚ Photographer for the first one is Lucy Fehr and Katiekat is my co-model (she also did the editing on this one) and for the second one it’s the other way around! Lucy’s and my dresses are from Black Milk Clothing, my corset is from Viola Lahger and my nail armour is from Myril Jewels.

Red Burlesque

Okay, I know it’s been two weeks since my last update but things have been pretty busy over here. So I thought I’d make it up to you by showing something nearly new but different. You all know I like to shoot vintage/retro with Hanna Fredholm. Well, a while ago we got together to shoot again and this time we ended up doing a colourful burlesque theme. I’ve never done burlesque before so it was a really fun thing to try πŸ™‚

Let’s Go Darkness

Yes, I know I have been neglecting this blog quite a bit (read: a lot) but I promise it will be better from now on! As of now I will aim to do at least one blog post a week, whether it’s about my creative adventures, food or other everyday stuff. I just really need to get back into the habit of writing as it helps clear my mind of other things.

So we’re starting with something creative, namely a wonderful behind the scenes pic of me and the lovely Lucy Fehr during our shoot with Katiekat yesterday. Lucy is all black metal badass and can’t keep a straight face πŸ˜›
Our dresses are from Black Milk Clothing, my corset is made by Viola Lahger and my nail armor is from Myril Jewels.

Cover Feature Bedeseme Magazine!

Like I said in my previous post I recently got to be a cover model for a magazine. And it’s not just any magazine, it’s one of the top fetish magazines there is today: Bedeseme Magazine!
I sent in my submission in November last year along with the answers to a bunch of interview questions (very fun and interesting ones, I might add!). At the beginning of this year I was told I had made it as a cover model πŸ™‚ This has been a dream and a goal of mine for years and I am incredibly thankful to the Bedeseme team for liking my photos enough to want to put me on the cover. You guys are awesome <

Lights Under the Sea

If it’s something love it’s working on supercreative shoots! The whole process of planning the theme for months, working out the outfit, styling, makeup and what props to use.. It’s what keeps my creative juices flowing πŸ™‚

Early last year me and the lady behind Imperial Fiddlesticks Emporium started discussing doing an ocean goddess themed shoot, based on a gorgeous mermaid themed top hat she had made me previously. We got a lovely makeup artist on board and Katiekat agreed to stand behind the camera.
This is the final result!
