Steampunk Sneak Peeks

I know I’ve been neglecting this blog quite a bit but time has moved so fast these past couple of months so I guess I just forgot I had it. I also haven’t been shooting a lot so there haven’t been much of that to write about. Early this year I made an active decision to cut beck on modelling for several reasons. Partly because I don’t feel I have enough time for it since I work during the week and only have time to shoot on weekends (when I also might want to do other things, like spend time with my love and my friends), and partly because I want to dedicate more time to shoot ideas that I have been working on for a while. It’s time to cross off that To Do list. And if that means shooting less in favour of creating great shoots, then so be it.

To be honest, it’s the best decision I’ve made so far. I love the process of creating a shoot and I want to fell that I’ve put enough time and energy in all of them, not just some. I’m less stressed now, it’s easier for me to get into the right mood and flow during a shoot and I feel very happy with the outcome.

In late March I had my first shoot in five months and it was with the lovely Carmilla who was here for the weekend. We had decided early on to something more fantasy inspired and later agreed to “throw in” some latex as well. I had a couple of ideas for both that had been brewing in my mind for a long time and now I could finally realise them in front of the camera! I love how both sets turned out, there were some true top notch images in both of them. Im still working on accepting the fact that my body looks different now than when I started six years ago, but hey, that’s what genetics, age and a feeling of being stable and happy in life can do 😛

Anyways, here are some selfies and sneak peeks for you!
